first direct has added new payment functionality to its Banking on the go App, allowing customers to create new beneficiaries and Standing Orders from their mobile device. From today, 14th October, first direct customers will be able to use Paym to make secure payments of up to £350 per day to friends, family and anyone else using the Paym service with just a mobile phone number from the first direct Banking on the go App.

Today (26 June 2014) first direct has launched a Windows Phone 8 version of its ‘Banking on the Go’ mobile App.  This follows on from its recently added BlackBerry 10 App and means the bank’s mobile offering is now available across four platforms (iOS, Android, BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8).
